Urology Austin is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Atrium clinic, one of our highest volume and most operationally complex locations, serving 300+ patients daily. This is a hands-on, in-clinic leadership role responsible for stabilizing operations, strengthening team performance, and driving accountability across all functions. This leader will be expected to be fully embedded in the clinic, actively supporting workflow, stepping into operations when needed, and setting the standard for both execution and culture.Reporting to this Position: The Assistant Manager and Clinical and non-clinical clinic staff at the Atrium location, including Medical Assistants, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Registered Nurses, Patient Service Representatives, and other assigned support staff.
Qualifications
Required: - Clinical background strongly preferred (RN, LVN, or comparable experience in a clinical setting)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume outpatient or procedural environment
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of patient flow, clinic operations, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to lead in real time, make decisions quickly, and maintain composure under pressure
- Active RN license in Texas
- Experience in urology or surgical specialty clinics
- Experience managing clinics with 200+ patients daily
- Demonstrated success in improving workflow efficiency and team performance
Essential Job Duties
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the Atrium clinic, ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent performance across clinical and front office workflows
- Monitor clinic flow throughout the day and make real-time operational adjustments to support patient throughput, provider efficiency, and staff effectiveness
- Maintain a visible presence in clinic operations and step in as needed to support workflow during high-volume periods or operational disruption
- Identify operational barriers, inefficiencies, and process gaps, and implement practical solutions to improve performance
- Promote a high standard of patient service by ensuring responsiveness, professionalism, and timely issue resolution
- Address patient concerns, complaints, and service recovery matters promptly and effectively
- Ensure adherence to clinical, regulatory, safety, and privacy standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, and internal policies
- Directly supervise clinic team members and provide clear day-to-day leadership, support, and accountability
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training coordination, coaching, and performance management for assigned staff
- Address conduct, attendance, and performance concerns in a timely and consistent manner
- Foster a professional clinic culture rooted in accountability, teamwork, communication, and respect
- Partner with leadership and HR as needed on employee relations matters, staffing needs, and performance concerns
- Partner closely with physicians and APPs to support clinic efficiency, daily readiness, and operational alignment with patient care needs
- Oversee clinic scheduling workflows, provider templates, and staffing coordination to maintain balanced operations and patient access
- Anticipate operational issues related to clinic volume, provider needs, and staffing coverage, and respond proactively
- Oversee clinic inventory, supply levels, and equipment readiness to support uninterrupted operations
- Monitor medication and sample management processes, where applicable, to ensure compliance with internal standards and safety requirements
- Maintain cost awareness while ensuring the clinic remains operationally prepared and properly supported
- Oversee front desk and patient access workflows, including scheduling, registration, coordination, and communication between clinic teams
- Monitor operational trends including volume, staffing, throughput, patient concerns, and workflow performance
- Support implementation of clinic-level process improvements, operational initiatives, and policy changes
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding clinic operations, staffing concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
