Position Summary
We are looking for a Clinic Manager to lead our North Market clinics in Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Georgetown. This is a chance to step into a leadership role within a market-leading organization, Urology Austin, and make a significant impact in a rapidly growing area of Central Texas.Job Relationships:
- Reports directly to Regional Market President.
- Works closely with physicians and all providers in their assigned locations.
- Works with key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization serving as a vital link between clinic staff, physicians, and other company leadership.
- All Patient Service Representatives, Medical Assistants, LVNs, RNs, and all other clinic staff in Round Rock, Cedar Park and Georgetown clinics.
Qualifications & Competencies
- A minimum of five years of progressive healthcare operations leadership ideally within a multi-site physician practice or specialty group. Experience in a urology or multi-specialty clinic is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse clinical and non-clinical team, resolve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong commitment to maintaining strict patient and employee confidentiality.
- The ability to manage and interpret financial data to drive performance.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proven experience managing multiple service lines and cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in inventory management, vendor relations, and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, solve complex problems, and drive results.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and executive presence.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and healthcare technology platforms.
Essential Job Duties
- The North Market Clinic Manager role is responsible for serving as the driving force behind the success of your assigned clinics. Primary responsibilities include:
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily clinic operations, including workflow coordination and schedule optimization to maximize patient access and provider efficiency. Ensure each office has the proper level of staffing needed to support clinic functions.
- Team Management: Lead all human resources functions for your clinics, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, in collaboration with the Human Resources department. Oversee and manages the staff of their clinical site(s), including the front office and clinical staff.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met. Manage the clinic budget and enhance cost-effectiveness without compromising quality of care.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure the provision of safe, high-quality patient care. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accrediting bodies, including managing risk and adhering to all Texas state laws.
- Communication & Collaboration: Foster strong communication between providers, staff, and other departments. Serve as the main point of contact for operational updates and feedback, presenting issues and solutions to the company leadership. Resolves any medical/administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional clinic atmosphere.
- Strategic Growth: Work with leadership to implement the practice’s mission and strategic vision. Identify and recommend improvements to enhance clinic operations.
