JOB TITLE: Senior Accountant
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the Corporate Controller in all accounting. Remote position with some occasional travel required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Minimum 5 years of accounting and experience in recording and maintaining accounting documentation and information for multi locations / entities
Public accounting experience or bookkeeping experience including full set of financial statements (P&L, BS).
Experience with NetSuite - required
Previous healthcare experience is a plus
Treasury and multiple bank account management experience - required
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to collaborate with others
Strong sense of urgency for time-sensitive requests
Ability to handle confidential items in discreteness
Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and manage work processes/projects efficiently and effectively to meet set deadlines (daily, weekly, monthly and annually)
Experienced advanced MS Excel knowledgeBottom of Form
OCR and other automated process experience
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
Multi account treasury management including daily posting and tracking of bank and credit card accounts and reporting
Preparation and review of Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accrued liabilities, etc.
Support and back up other accounting team members, as necessary
Assist the Corporate Controller in the completion of special projects
Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
An idea candidate will have exposure to the coding and preparation of financial statements –
Performance Requirements:
Knowledge
Knowledge of accounting techniques, terminology, and tools with a full understanding of the Income Statement (P&L), and Balance Sheet.
Skills
Working knowledge of NetSuite.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work efficiently, detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy.

Physical demands: Involves sitting approximately 80 percent of the day, walking or standing for the remainder. Work may require stooping and bending to access file and supplies, mobility to complete errands, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Work environment: Remote. Occasional day trips to clean, well-lit office set-up to collaborate with Corporate Controller and CFO. Occasional evening and weekend work if needed during month end close.
Travel: Occasional travel to various locations of Urology America.
